Personal Recession Revelation.

Alright, i feel the need to vent and i go to my own personal blog to do so. I am a recent college graduate and its SO hard to find a GOOD full time job and you think a degree would change that and it can and will i guess because of this recession its gonna take longer than i thought. Thats why im gonna go to grad school next spring or fall which shall be fun because that means no student loans while i attend school. Now, im not askin for a lot of money comin outta school but id like a salary of $30,000 to $40,000 and i have applied to jobs with salaries in between there and under $30,000. Finding a job is very frustrating, now in the last two weeks ive applied to probably over 10 jobs and have gotten 2 interviews. i wish i could work for a professional team so i can actually go towards my major. I wanna get my masters so i can own my own business and be my own boss and wear the hell what i want and not worrying about covering my 6 tattoos lol. sucks thats all i know. whatever im gettin into music. fin.

Sooooooooooooooooo, ive been listening to Eric Roberson's latest album entitled 'Music Fan First' which is an AWESOME R&B/Soul Album. He's an independent artist. I love his music, really smooth and mellow. As im listening, Im thinking...you know how you listen to laid back music or slow music and you think about a guy whether in your past or present, or even someone in the future you potentially picture yourself with eventually. Yea this was random. haha.

Ahhhhhhh! Bow Weezy's mixtape is pretty damn good. Alot of us here in columbus is like oh whatever Bow wow is this n that, but ive been a fan from DAY 1. Ask my best cousin. but anyhoo, my friend put me on to this mixtape and I had no clue he got signed to Young Money (Drake, Wayne, Tyga, Nicky Minaj's label) like thats a good group of artists on the label and i even heard Omarion is on the label too. Presents Curly Tops And Nautica Jackets mixtape with Hellagood and other producers on it. *Sigh* Ahhhhhhhh So SAD! We lost R&B singer Aaliyah Dana Haughton on August 25, 2001 from a plane crash. Its crazy cuz when her plane crashed i happened to look at the clock wierd before i knew she had passed away, coincidence? idk but I was HURT when i heard she died, and i cried LITERALLY for like a week or two. when i say i was SAD mane i was DEVASTATED, and i made like a tribute binder to her with pictures and articles and i re bought every one of her albums...but she was and always WILL be my fave singer. i know her and Static are making great music again. It's crazy how time FLIES, i mean its been 8 years. like where does the time go?? smh But TO AALIYAH, We MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU! =D

Artist Watch: LeToya Luckett

Former member of Destiny's Child, she was actually MY fave destiny's child member back in the day, not Beyonce. But Beyonce is my homegirl now, but I digress...lol, Miss LeToya is back with her sophomore album entitled 'Lady Love' which is going to be released this upcoming tuesday August 25, 2009. As always I have my music early, BUT i'll be at Best Buy Tuesday before work to go get it. I am a LeToya fan, ever since DC, but when she went solo, to me it was a sigh of relief because no one thought she could sing and im glad she proved EVERYBODY wrong. Also, I had got a chance to meet her while she was touring with Mary J. Blige on the Breakthrough Tour and I got a picture with her. I must say she is SUCH a humble artist, she was even talkin to my mom and was also very polite! And she's def a southern gal lol i mean her accent was odee. But yes, all im sayin as usual like i do all the damn time is go support good music. Her 2nd Album is pretty DAMN GOOD, Overall def a good sophomore album! :), go preview it on amazon.com before it releases. I like Original Fake too, but them shits are HIGH priced. So im in Lids, in NYC-times square, packed as hell. and i see a group of guys tryna pick out a fitted. but theres one guy who happens to have two stacks of money in his hand like flashin it, and then is like pointing to the fitteds on the wall and whatnot like tryna attract attention to him, esp this group of not so fly girls and then tries to holler at her...now, then one of his friends is like ahhh man no! she look like a man! lmfao but ya know she was lookin a lil man-ish. but my whole point of the story is that, WHY must a guy flash cash to attract girls, if you do that then you really aint got no game, money aint everything. girls got they own nowadays so step up to the plate and show somethin different other than clothes, cars and cash. material things are just that...material. im done.

Trip To NYC.

Okay, so i just got back from New York City, and I must say it was fun and crazy at the same time. Friday, we got there in manhattan, traffic is crazy as most know, cops screamin at cars lol it was funny. But we stayed in east village which is basically where the rich people live lol no really, John Legend just bought a condominium off bowery for like $2.5 million dollars like this past week so haha i know where he livin now. But lets just say the empire state building was outside my window, we stayed down the street from SoHo. So yea friday we went to Times Sq, actually got to see Rahzel performin while waitin to be seated at Bubba Gumps which is mucho delicioso lol (my spanish) i had shrimp scampi so if u ever there TRY IT! That day we ended up walkin 5 miles lol im from Ohio we dont walk, we DRIVE! So ANYBODY WHO LIVES IN NYC SHOULD BE IN SHAPE, CUZ THERE IS NO EXCUSE!!!

So Saturday, we hit up Canal St where theres NO room to walk lmao and everybody tryna sell u somethin, i bought a few things then we hit up 42nd, and went to Macy's, Old Navy (Me and My Sis was dancin to Michael Jackson in the store hularious!), and we went to Central Park where my MOM won the hoola hoop contest lmfao she was gettin, i never woulda thought! Oh Chill, and when we was on the N train, group of guys that be singin or whatever my MOM got up and started dancin lmao i wish i recorded that one, i seen those old men last time i was there in february. Oh yea I got to Dave's Quality Meat on 3rd St and copped a dope snap back and their exclusive DQM G Shock, spent over $200 -__- so whatever lmao. but the shop is cool i love boutiques like that. Im mad i didnt get to go to Kid Robot, Supreme or Flight Club. After goin to DQM, we went to Harlem like 127th & lenox haha the Hood for some Sylvias Soul Food, Luckily we got out and back to manhattan by dark lmfao cuz we was def walkin in the projects. Saturday we WALKED 9 MILES I just wanna Thank GOD For Blackberry's and that my phone didnt die, because I used this site to help guide us around NYC, like how to get places by walking and what train to take cuz we was on the GO! We almost ended up in brooklyn, and queens! lmfao All in all it was a fun weekend but have come to the conclusion that, that is not the place im tryna live in and raise a family in one day. :(

Parents Just Dont Understand.

-__-, why oh whyyyyyyyyyy do parents get upset over little things??? i was drinkin and chillin wit my bff's from hs and decided to stay cuz we was sleepy and i did send a text sayin i was gonna stay over so its not like i just dissappeared, so my mom gets ODEE upset like this is your first and final warning or move out and do that in your own house. WTF, im at my friends house safe! i dont get it like parents just dont understand and it wasnt even that serious...so with that said, IM OUTTA HERE SOONER THAN I PLANNED CUZ I CANT DEAL WITH BULLSHIT LIKE THIS. So here's my options nah mean, theres Atlanta, Virginia, Los Angeles. Cuz i got fam in those places. i really wanna move to NYC but its expensive there *sigh* or ima just go to grad school and move out to nyc. idk but whatever im done.
